National and Alamo has an exciting opportunity for an Overnight Inventory Clerk at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. The Inventory Clerk provides support for the administrative tasks involved with reconciling our rental fleet and other duties as required in the Fort Lauderdale Airport Market. They will performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

This is a full-time (40 hour/week) OVERNIGHT position. This position is located at the Ft Lauderdale Airport (zip code 33316)

This position pays $16.50/hour with an additional $1/hour for overnight shift

Apart from religious observation, interested candidates must be able to work the following schedule including holidays. Sunday: 10:30pm-7am Monday: OFF Tuesday: OFF Wednesday: 10:30pm-7am Thursday: 10:30pm-7am Friday: 10:30pm-7am Saturday: 10:30pm-7am

Responsibilities

  • Maintain city fleet inventory within company guidelines.
  • Monitor all vehicle movement, while logging physical location of all units.
  • Respond appropriately to all management inquiries and calls.
  • Type reports and correspondence. Copy and collate materials as required.
  • Provide support on special projects as required.
  • Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
  • Perform various administrative functions such as: research support tasks, logs, run miscellaneous reports, and supply maintenance
  • Handheld unit equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous and backup job-related duties as assigned
  • Management reserves the right to modify, change or delete duties assigned
  • Perform other customer service related duties in addition to those listed, to ensure our service meets the needs of the customer.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 1-year experience handling basic customer service and office administration functions
  • A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be willing to accept a starting pay of $16.50/hour with an additional $1/hour for overnight shift
  • Must be willing to work at the Ft Lauderdale Airport
  • Apart from religious observation, must be able to work must be able to work Sun,Wed,Thur,Fri, and Sat: 10:30pm - 7:00am, Mon and Tues: OFF
