About the role

The Guest Services Attendant createsa strong senseof arrival forhotel,restaurantand banquet guests.Arrangesfor cars to be parked or retrieved. Arranges transportation forguestAssures that guests’ departure is swift and complete.Assistsguestswith luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels.

What you will do

  • Greetsguests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel.Assistsguests descending from cars. Issuesappropriate valetparkingticketto guests who want car parked. Gives verbalgreetingto guests arriving on foot.Openshotel doors for all guests

  • Unloads guest luggage from car, tags it and issues claim tickets to the guest.Directshotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in.

  • Assures the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to theappropriate positionsand directing valet parkers to park cars

  • Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions.Hailstaxis as needed.Loadsluggage in car fordepartingguests

  • Escortsguests to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.

  • Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes fromguestroom, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest.

  • Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local traveloff ofthe hotel property.

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints,assistscustomers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
