Husband-and-wife team Andrew and Chef Dani built Call Your Mother around one simple idea: people deserve incredible food made by people who give an F. From our first farmers market stand in 2018, to shops across the DMV, Colorado, Chicago, and Philadelphia, and soon Miami, we've grown by obsessing over the details and blasting the music and laughing along the way. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR DAY

• Assemble and package products safely so they arrive fresh and ready for our shops.
• Review daily packing lists and fulfillment invoices to make sure every location gets exactly what it needs.
• Sort and organize prepared products at the Commissary for delivery to multiple CYM locations.
• Load the delivery vehicle efficiently and safely while ensuring every food and beverage item meets food safety standards.
• Keep deliveries moving on schedule so our shops receive the right products at the right time.
• Communicate clearly and work closely with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Logistics or Commissary Managers before they become bigger problems.
• Bring a professional, positive attitude to every shift.
• Prep fresh food and other items by following CYM’s recipes, SOPs, and high-quality standards, as needed.
• Pitch in wherever the Logistics or Commissary Managers and your teammates need you most.

YOU DON'T NEED BAGEL EXPERIENCE.

You’ll do well if you’re comfortable behind the wheel, following food safety and sanitation standards, and safely getting products where they need to go. The right attitude, a reliable work ethic, and a strong baseline > a polished resume.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reading, and communicating effectively; standing, walking, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive physical movements; lifting up to 50 pounds; and safely operating equipment and tools using manual dexterity. This role also requires working in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures, and occasionally working in confined spaces. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.

ASÍ SERÁ TU DÍA

No hay dos turnos exactamente iguales, pero podrías:

• Preparar y empacar los productos de manera segura para que lleguen frescos y listos a nuestros restaurantes.
• Revisar las listas de empaque y las facturas de pedidos diariamente para garantizar que cada ubicación reciba exactamente lo que necesita.
• Clasificar y organizar en la comisaría los productos preparados para entregarlos en varias ubicaciones de CYM.
• Cargar el vehículo de reparto de manera eficiente y segura, garantizando que todos los alimentos y bebidas cumplan con las normas de seguridad alimentaria.
• Mantener las entregas dentro del horario establecido para que nuestros restaurantes reciban los productos correctos a tiempo.
• Comunicarse claramente y colaborar con el equipo para que las operaciones diarias funcionen sin problemas.
• Informar a los gerentes de Logística o de la Comisaría sobre cualquier problema con los equipos o necesidad de mantenimiento antes de que se convierta en un problema mayor.
• Mantener una actitud profesional y positiva durante cada turno.
• Preparar alimentos frescos y otros productos siguiendo las recetas, los procedimientos operativos estándar y los altos estándares de calidad de CYM, según sea necesario.
• Ayudar donde más lo necesiten los gerentes de Logística o de la Comisaría y tus compañeros de equipo.

NO NECESITAS EXPERIENCIA HACIENDO BAGELS.

Tendrás éxito en este puesto si te sientes cómodo/a conduciendo, siguiendo las normas de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento, y transportando los productos de manera segura a donde deben llegar. Para nosotros, una buena actitud, una ética de trabajo confiable y una base sólida son más importantes que un currículum perfecto.

REQUISITOS FÍSICOS

Las exigencias físicas de este puesto incluyen la capacidad de ver, escuchar, hablar, leer y comunicarse de manera efectiva; permanecer de pie, caminar, alcanzar objetos, agacharse y realizar movimientos físicos repetitivos; levantar hasta 50 libras; y operar de manera segura equipos y herramientas utilizando destreza manual.
