Job Description

Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital is looking for an Overnight Client Care Representative to Join Their Team in Round Rock! The Client Care Representative plays an integral role in the Advanced Veterinary Care provided by our team. This role goes hand in hand with our purpose statement of enhancing the quality of life for our patients.
Position Responsibilities 
  • Answer multiple line phones
  • Schedule appointments
  • Greet clients upon arrival
  • Prepare and collect information from clients to create or update their pet’s chart
  • Explain hospital policy as it applies to payment for services rendered
  • Faxing, filing, mailing
  • Reminder calls
  • Performing end-of-day duties
  • Properly use the computer to schedule appointments, enter new client and new pet information, and generate invoices
  • Appropriately prepare billings, receipts, collect, and record all payments for services rendered 
  • Consistent, on time arrival and attendance at work each day you are scheduled.
  • Always be in position and prepared to work at the start of each shift.

  Qualifications 
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Two years minimum customer service experience
  • Knowledge of the veterinary field is preferred, but not required 
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Know how to operate basic office equipment 
  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds.
  Schedule
  • Swing shift (4 pm - 2 am) 
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Overtime may be required
  • Expect to work at least one weekend shift per month

Appointments are made by obtaining a referral from a primary care veterinarian for specialty services. Emergency Care is on a walk-in basis during Emergency Care hours.
