OVERNIGHT ARTISAN BREAD BAKER


Easy Tiger, one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking an Overnight Artisan Bread Baker to join our wholesale bakery team! REPORTS TO: Lead Baker SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-Exempt
SHIFT REQUIREMENTS: 4 x 10 hour shifts, 8:30pm - 6:30am JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Learning and honing the craft of baking from our skilled bakers
• Shaping & proofing a variety of unique breads
• Baking artisan breads using state of the art deck and convection ovens
• Mixing various doughs and starters while maintaining consistent quality and schedule
• Dipping and baking the best pretzels in town
• Assisting in packing duties
• Maintaining cleanliness
• Putting away deliveries

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
• Ability to read recipes and knowledge of math in weighing and mixing precise quantity of ingredients
• Previous bakery experience is a plus, but not required
• Passion for quality food & hospitality
• Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace
• Strong work ethic and reliable
• Current Texas Food Handlers certification
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work standing for 10+ hours
