Position: Overhead Crane Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move materials, products, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full-time position, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads
Inspect and maintain cranes and rigging equipment to ensure safe operation
Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating cranes
Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine load requirements
Communicate with team members to ensure proper movement and placement of materials
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and equipment
Complete daily logs and reports on crane operations
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes
Valid crane operator certification
Knowledge of crane safety regulations and procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
