Job Description

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of OutSystems applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform best practices.

  • Partner with internal technical and business teams to define end-to-end technical solutions and key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring delivery success.

  • Take a hands-on role in developing key components of web and mobile applications, applying development best practices to ensure solution performance and strong user adoption.

  • Conduct end-to-end investigation of issues and implement timely, effective fixes.

  • Participate in user discussions to understand their current technical landscape, and their existing pain-point and challenges.

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring delivery meets functional, technical, performance, and business KPIs.

  • Engage in business discussions to understand stakeholders' current technical landscape, pain points, and challenges.

  • Identify potential areas of value-add and opportunities for process or platform improvement.

  • Evaluate project requirements, and lead solutioning and effort estimation for proposed work.

  • Apply knowledge of technology areas beyond application development — including infrastructure, networking and third-party system integration — to propose robust, end-to-end solutions.

  • Work independently to provide Day 2 application support, ensuring continued stability and performance of deployed solutions.

Education

  • An accredited degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Experience

  • Proficient in .NET, C#, database modelling, and SQL.

  • Proficient in OutSystems ODC platforms, with relevant certifications; working knowledge of front-end web technologies such as JavaScript and CSS.

  • Experience working with OutSystems AI capabilities (Agent Workbench, Mentor).

  • Experience with authentication protocols/methods (OAuth 2.0, SAML, MS Entra ID, Single Sign-On).

  • Familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), integration with Google Workspace.

  • Experience in the education and government sectors is preferred, along with experience in mobile application development, content management systems, and systems integration.

  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Experience in an Agile delivery environment.

  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly describe and demonstrate proposed solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong team spirit and a high sense of ownership and responsibility.

  • Strong Day 1 solution design and development and Day 2 operational and troubleshooting experience.

  • Working experience with iPaaS (i.e. Workato) will be an added advantage

  • Familiarity with common enterprise SaaS systems (e.g. HubSpot, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar)

  • Experience in early childhood education, social services, or regulated sectors

  • Experience integration with Singpass

  • Familiarity with Singapore's AI governance landscape and PDPA requirements

  • Knowledge of school management, CRM, HR, or finance enterprise systems

  • Cybersecurity knowledge, and familiarity with platforms such as UiPath or automated testing tools
