Job Description

🌊 Who We Are

At Seaside Plumbing, we’re not just fixing plumbing—we’re restoring peace, uplifting lives, and raising the standard of what service in the trades looks like.

We believe:

• Service should feel human, not transactional
• Customers should feel confident, informed, and cared for
• Communication and trust drive everything we do
• And a career in the trades can be something you’re proud of—not just something you do

We’ve built a company where people grow, customers trust us, and the bar is set high.

⚠️ Let’s Be Clear (Read This First)

This is not for everyone.

This is not just running camera inspections.

This is not a “quote and move on” sales role.

This is a high-performance service and sales role where:

• Communication matters
• Problem-solving matters
• Ownership matters

You will diagnose issues, educate customers, and guide them to confident decisions.

If you’re uncomfortable talking to customers, explaining solutions, or asking for the sale—this is not the place for you.

👉 We are where the best come to become elite.

🔧 What You’ll Do

As an Outside Sales Representative at Seaside, you will:

• Conduct sewer camera inspections and diagnose main line issues
• Clearly explain problems and recommended solutions to homeowners
• Prepare detailed estimates, sketches, and written proposals
• Present options confidently and close approved work
• Identify opportunities for additional services when appropriate
• Build strong customer relationships through trust and professionalism
• Coordinate with plumbing teams to ensure smooth job execution
• Maintain accurate documentation, invoices, and option sheets
• Operate all equipment safely and responsibly

💪 What Success Looks Like Here

• You accurately diagnose issues and present clear solutions
• Customers trust you and feel confident saying yes
• You consistently hit and exceed performance goals
• Your work leads to repeat business and referrals
• You take ownership of your numbers and your outcomes
• You operate with integrity—always

🧠 What Makes This Role Different

This is not just sales.

We invest heavily in:

• Technical diagnostics and training
• Customer communication and education
• Personal and professional growth

You won’t just sell here—

👉 You’ll become a trusted advisor who solves real problems.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

We believe great people deserve to be taken care of.

• Competitive pay: starting at $20/hour + commission
• 100% paid health, dental, and vision (for you AND your family)
• $15,000 company-paid life insurance (with upgrade options)
• 401(k) with 4% match
• Profit sharing
• Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
• NO emergency on-call
• State-of-the-art tools, parts, and equipment
• Ongoing paid training

👉 Very few companies offer what we offer. We mean that.

🧩 Who This Is For

This role is a great fit if you:

• Enjoy working directly with customers
• Are confident communicating and presenting solutions
• Have a strong sales mindset with integrity
• Are organized and detail-oriented
• Are self-motivated and results-driven

🚫 Who This Is NOT For

This is NOT a fit if you:

• Avoid customer interaction or sales conversations
• Struggle to explain problems clearly
• Lack urgency or follow-through
• Prefer low accountability environments
• Don’t take ownership of results

📍 Location

• This is an in-person position operating out of Bishopville, Maryland
• We serve homeowners across the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware.

🌅 Our Mission

Bring brightness today.

Unlock the potential of tomorrow.

💙 Our Values

These values aren't just words on a wall—they guide our decisions, shape our culture, and set the standard for how we work together.

• Ownership — Take initiative. Own the outcome. Leave it better than you found it.
• Empathy — Lead with humanity, care and understanding.
• Courage — Embrace discomfort. Do the hard things. Growth follows.
• Gratitude — There is always something to be grateful for. Find it. Share it.
• Authenticity — Be your weird self and respect that in others. You shine brighter that way.

🔥 Final Word

There are easier sales jobs out there.

But if you’re looking for:

• Growth
• Opportunity
• A team that actually cares
• And a role where your communication and skill truly matter

👉 This might be it.
