Fellers Food Service Equipment and Design, LLC in Springfield, Missouri is a full-line restaurant equipment and supply store. We are owned by one of the oldest grocery firms in the nation, SGC Foodservice, having been established in 1865 to serve the needs of the pioneer and post-Civil War community. Today we provide almost an unlimited number of line items to a broad range of customers throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.

The Outside Sale Representative can be located within the company’s trade area of Southwest Missouri, Tulsa Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas or Central Missouri. This position requires a willingness to get up early and meet customers face-to-face. To be successful you must be willing to spend time preparing for your calls and meeting the special needs of your customers.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Opening new business with restaurants, food trucks, churches, school systems, healthcare facilities, resorts, and other foodservice institutions.
• Promote Fellers Food Service Equipment and Design to new and established businesses in the region.
• Servicing existing accounts by providing equipment, supplies, food items, menu ideas, product samples and solving operational issues
• Increasing distribution of the lines we carry with current customers through an understanding of how to help them build additional profits through product or operational gaps.
• Managing customer credit and collections
• Managing the general business aspects of your sales territory
• Maintain high-level communication with both external and internal customers.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Food service and/or commercial grade kitchen equipment sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field preferred. High School Diploma required.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle to make customer calls.
• Ability to travel for work.

Our compensation and benefits program are extremely competitive. This position will have a base salary with commission component based on sales and gross profit.
