Location: Columbia, South Carolina Area
Territory: Approximately 100-mile radius from Columbia, SC

About Flagship Signs

Flagship Signs is a growing commercial signage company serving businesses throughout Columbia and surrounding South Carolina markets. We specialize in high-impact commercial signage including storefront signs, dimensional letters, large-format panels, and installation services for commercial clients.

As demand continues to grow across the Carolinas, we’re looking to add a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional to help expand our customer base and support increasing inbound lead volume.

We are seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys building relationships with business owners and decision-makers.

This is an opportunity for a true hunter mentality salesperson — someone who is self-motivated, personable, and capable of managing opportunities from prospecting through close.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, following up on inbound leads, and generating new business opportunities throughout the territory.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new commercial business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Follow up on inbound marketing-generated leads
• Prospect and develop relationships with local businesses
• Meet with business owners and commercial decision-makers
• Conduct site visits and basic field measurements
• Coordinate project details with internal production and installation teams
• Maintain customer communication and pipeline activity
• Deliver professional customer service throughout the sales process
• Support repeat business and long-term client relationships

Compensation

Compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process and is based on experience and performance.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Prior outside sales, B2B sales, or business development experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Hunter-style sales mentality
• Comfortable working in a field sales environment
• Basic measuring and tape measure proficiency
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional appearance and customer-facing communication ability

Preferred Experience

• Sign industry experience
• Commercial construction or trades-related sales
• Insurance sales or consultative sales background
• Existing network within the Columbia market
• CRM experience
