Job Description

Our client, a fright forwarding company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative.

This role is responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through in-person sales activities. The Outside Sales Representative will represent the company in the field, identify new opportunities, and deliver solutions that meet client needs.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and thrives in a performance-based environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Conduct in-person meetings with prospects and clients to present products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about company offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • Experience using CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools preferred.

Location: Brooklyn NY
Salary: $65K Draw + commission
