Job Description

Rueter's, a certified dealer for a wide range of agricultural and construction equipment has an opening for an aggressive, self-motivated Sales Representative in the Sioux City market.

Founded in 1951, Rueter's has been in the equipment business for over sixty years guaranteeing total customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale. This fast growing company has 7 locations in the state of Iowa and Nebraska.

The ideal candidate will have multiple years of construction and/or agricultural equipment sales experience. Candidates should be energetic, motivated self-starters who are team oriented with a positive attitude and the desire to provide excellent customer service.

To sell, rent or lease new and used agricultural and construction equipment to new and existing customers while actively working to build market share

Essential Duties:

1. Represent Rueter’s in the sale of construction equipment

2. Establish relationships with potential customers while building relationships with current customers

3. Meet sales, revenue, and lead generation goals established by the Store Lead

4. Maintain overall knowledge of product features and benefits of all equipment sold by Rueter’s

Competencies:

· General knowledge of Construction Equipment

· Previous Equipment Sales Experience

· Sales pricing and trade-in values

· Proficient in computer applications

· Effective oral and written communication skills

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment:

This job operates in both an office and field environment, including exposure to varied weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This job requires the employee to lift at least 25 pounds routinely.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evenings and weekends as necessary.

Travel:

Local day travel is a regular part of this position.

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED

· Valid Driver’s License

· Previous outside sales experience (Preferred)

· Previous Ag and Construction sales experience (Preferred)

· Proficient computer use
