Job Description

Carolina Waste is looking for an experienced Sales Rep to manage our Charleston, SClocation. We are looking for an innovative, creative and proactive individual capable of creating change and driving results.

Competitive Base Salary + Commissions!

of Functions:

The Sales Rep matches prospect’s needs to Carolina Wasteservices and aims to secure long-term partnerships by utilizing a consultative sellingapproach in the sale of wastesolutions to large, complex accounts. The Sales Rep prospects and closes major accounts to achieve targeted sales goals. Develops and implements selling effective strategies that ensure revenue growth at target or greater profitability levels at the district level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a list of prospective accounts and key contacts.
  • Target large volume opportunities within designated geographic areas
  • Customer retentionwith existing client base
  • Present Service Solutions to C-Level management
  • Maintain and update CRM tools( Salesforce/ARES ) for future follow up
  • Maintain sales pipeline to achieve goals for new/gross sales monthly.
  • Use an in-depth industry and company knowledge to prepare complex proposals to existing and potential clients.
  • Make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-4 years direct salesor business developmentexperience with proven results
  • Experience with professional presentations and excellent written, verbal and listening skills
  • Experience in Business to Business selling, Contract Selling, and Sales Negotiation
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Salesforceor comparable CRM toolsis a plus.
  • Good numeracyskills to estimate pricing and calculate margins.
