Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of medical sales experience preferred.

  • Compassion.
    Being understanding of patient and family needs.

  • Patience.
    Remaining calm in stressful situations is important.

  • Communication.
    Must be able to listen to patients and understand what they need and then communicate their needs to insurance providers, doctors, nurses, specialists, etc.

  • Attention to Detail.
    Understanding the complex nature of healthcare to ensure patients receive the proper care.

  • Ability to proactively initiate events with referral sources.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license as the position will require traveling between offices, facilities, hospitals, etc.

  • Reliable transportation is required, expectation of driving to off-site appointments.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language fluently. Spanish speaking a plus.

  • Employment contingent upon clear fingerprint and criminal history record.

  • Positive relationships and contacts with vascular surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, and / or case managers in marketing area are preferred.


Education Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.

  • This position may require the ability to occasionally lift supplies, up to 20 pounds.

  • Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.


Working Conditions:


  • Normal patient care environment with exposure to loud noises, and offensive odors.

  • Some exposure to infectious diseases when working with patients.

  • Exposure to community, home, work, school, and off-site clinic settings.

Travel:

Traveling between offices, to and from patient homes, facilities, and hospitals is required.
