Job Description

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Manager to drive business growth throughout the Little Rock market and surrounding territories. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and expanding market presence within the contractor, distributor, and building materials space.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, experience managing a sales territory, and the ability to generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and customer engagement. This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory through new business development and account management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and commercial customers
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market expansion efforts
  • Manage customer accounts to ensure high levels of service, retention, and long-term partnership growth
  • Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline activity, customer interactions, and sales performance
  • Collaborate with branch operations and production teams to support customer needs and ensure timely service delivery
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and follow-up activities throughout the territory
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business growth strategies
  • Meet or exceed established sales and profitability goals
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience preferred
  • Experience within building materials, construction products, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships within a territory-based sales environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the territory
