40The Outreach Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their assigned team, ensuring seamless coordination of laboratory services with exceptional patient care. This role involves orienting, training, supervising personnel, managing schedules to ensure coverage availability while maintaining high standards of service delivery across all areas, as required by CAP and other regulatory areas of compliance.
The Outreach Supervisor demonstrates strong leadership and technical expertise to build a cohesive, efficient team. Responsibilities may include overseeing all collection and testing activities, supply/inventory management, fleet management, delivery assignments, rounding and quarterly feedback with staff, annual competency reviews, annual performance reviews and appraisals in collaboration with their one up, and appropriate data tracking for their team to ensure operational efficiency.
In addition to operational duties, the Outreach Supervisor partners with the laboratory manager on HR-related functions to include documented coaching and/or any disciplinary actions. This position plays a key role in staff development, patient and provider satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
