The Outreach Coordinatoris responsible for developing, implementing, and managing outreach initiatives to promote the Beacon Programs and services within the community. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and target audiences to enhance awareness and engagement. The Outreach Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Program Director and Assistant Director to ensure effective communication and outreach strategies that align with the Phipps Organization’s mission and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop promotional materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media content, to effectively communicate program offerings
  • Coordinate and facilitate presentations and information sessions to raise awareness of services
  • Gather and analyze data on outreach efforts to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with program staff to ensure alignment of outreach efforts with program goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance visibility and reach
  • Provide training support to volunteers and staff involved in outreach activities.
  • Uphold program policies and procedures and proper use of supplies and materials.
  • Maintain ongoing open communication with parents and day school teachers.
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops and program events.
  • Communicate with all staff, parents, children and community members in a polite and respectful manner so as to represent the program in a professional way.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/Equivalency or GED
