OUTREACH SPECIALIST - FAMILY SUPPORT PARTNER PROGRAM IN PHILADELPHIA Generous Benefits- Hybrid Position

Salary Range: $40K-$46K

The Outreach Specialist is dedicated full time to the Family Support program. The Outreach Specialist is responsible for recruiting families in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties for the Family Support Program. This position will develop and maintain positive relationships with community and funder referral sources. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with families, is motivated by helping others.

The Family Support Program is a home visiting model that will be offered to families with young children in the Philadelphia area seeking assistance. Families will work closely with a Family Support Partner who will assist them in gaining new skills and building connections in their community.

Job Specifics: The Outreach Specialist will be required to engage in outreach activities that include all organizations that interact with families that serve children ages 2-8 years old. Distribute materials to share information about the program to encourage enrollment. This will include tabling at community events, presentations, and interacting with community members to market the program. Will be responsible for managing and maintain some administrative data, responsible for information dissemination, retrieval, and timely submission, and act as a general support for the Family Support Department.

This is a Monday-Friday, Full-time Position; Available for occasional weekend events, that is based primarily out of our Preheim Center in Southwest Philadelphia.

Experience At least two years of experience with community engagement and building relationships is required. Experience in networking, collaborating, and the ability to present in a public forum and at community events. Experience with being a self-starter and developing relationships. Marketing experience strongly preferred. A valid driver's license is required, must be able to commute to various locations in Philadelphia.
