Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Work Days: Monday–Friday
  • Work Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
  • Rate: $5–$6 per hour
  • Workplace: Remote

We are looking for a confident, proactive, and results-driven Outreach Specialist and Administrative Assistant to support a home care company in Mississippi providing medical and non-medical home care services to pediatric through elderly patients.

The primary focus of this role is cold calling and business development outreach to healthcare facilities and caseworkers, identifying staffing and patient-care opportunities, and supporting recruitment for Medicaid waiver and private duty nursing cases. The ideal candidate is comfortable initiating conversations, explaining services, identifying staffing needs, and positioning the company as a solution.

Experience with healthcare credentialing is highly preferred, although candidates with strong business development, sales, or outreach experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calls and outreach to healthcare facilities across Mississippi to introduce the company's home care and staffing services.
  • Contact hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities to identify staffing needs and potential opportunities.
  • Reach out to hospital and clinic caseworkers regarding private duty nursing services for pediatric patients ages 0–21.
  • Explain available services, understand facility or patient-care needs, and position the company as a staffing or care solution.
  • Support recruitment and staffing efforts for Medicaid waiver patients and private duty nursing cases.
  • Coordinate outreach with healthcare facilities and caseworkers to identify patients who may require available nursing or home care services.
  • Help connect available staff with appropriate patient-care cases and facility staffing opportunities.
  • Support recruitment-focused business development efforts based on current staffing needs.
  • Conduct consistent follow-ups with prospective facilities, caseworkers, and referral sources to develop new business opportunities and support appointment setting.
  • Assist with insurance credentialing, including contacting insurance companies and completing credentialing requirements needed for the company to provide services to eligible patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, outreach activities, follow-ups, leads, and credentialing progress.
  • Prepare end-of-day reports and provide regular updates on outreach results and productivity.
  • Work toward a target of 4 new clients per month.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of experience in cold calling, outbound outreach, sales, appointment setting, or business development.
  • Recruitment or staffing experience.
  • Strong phone presence with the confidence and personality to initiate and maintain business conversations.
  • Ability to clearly explain services, identify needs, and communicate how the company can provide a solution.
  • Healthcare or home care industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Healthcare insurance credentialing experience is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with strong credentialing experience must be willing and comfortable performing cold calling and business development outreach.
  • Results-driven and comfortable working toward productivity and new-client acquisition targets.
  • Strong English communication, organization, follow-up, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently during the required CST schedule.
  • Experience with HHAeXchange and Go High Level is a plus but not required

Basic Requirements

  • Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
  • Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
