Outreach Specialist – Adaptive Construction Solutions

Pay & Benefits

$55,000-$57,000 annually, plus full benefits. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel.


The Opportunity

Build connections that expand access to employment opportunities. The Outreach Specialist identifies and engages job seekers, employers, workforce organizations, and community partners through research, relationship-building, events, and technical assistance. This role uses labor market information and outreach data to strengthen workforce development efforts, including services for veterans and other job seekers.


What You'll Do

  • Analyze labor market trends and community demographics to identify outreach priorities, target groups, employers, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and carry out outreach strategies and maintain a weekly activity plan and field presence across the assigned region.
  • Build relationships with employers, workforce agencies, nonprofits, educational institutions, and other community stakeholders.
  • Educate employers, partners, and job seekers about ACS programs, eligibility, services, and participant expectations.
  • Participate in job fairs, workshops, networking events, hiring events, referrals, and follow-up activities that connect talent with opportunity.
  • Provide clear information and technical assistance on applications, services, referral systems, and employment pathways, including registered apprenticeships.
  • Maintain accurate case-management records, track performance indicators, support reporting and quality assurance, and use data to improve service delivery.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 2+ years of workforce outreach and engagement experience.
  • Experience in participant recruitment, community outreach, or similar work; grant-funded program experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute outreach strategies.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, organization, time-management, problem-solving, and technology skills.

Travel

Travel at least 50% within the assigned service region, plus travel to Houston headquarters as needed. Mileage is reimbursed for approved business travel.
