Role Overview

We hiring an Outreach Marketing Assistant to generate leasing leads, support property marketing, and increase occupancy across our multifamily properties.

This is outreach role involving local business development, lead generation, community marketing, property promotion, and prospect engagement. The ideal candidate is confident approaching businesses and community organizations, comfortable promoting rental properties, and motivated by generating leads and leasing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sales and community outreach across assigned properties and local markets.
• Build relationships with businesses, employers, schools, and community organizations to generate leasing leads and referrals.
• Promote available units, property amenities, specials, and leasing opportunities.
• Distribute marketing materials and represent AAM Living at community and networking events.
• Generate qualified leasing traffic and support lead follow-up and conversion.
• Track outreach, leads, referrals, and marketing activities.
• Identify new sales, marketing, and partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with Leasing and Community Managers to support occupancy goals.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant market feedback.
• Maintain current marketing materials and support additional sales and marketing activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months–1 year of experience in sales, marketing, leasing, customer service, retail, hospitality, or outreach preferred.
• Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable approaching businesses, organizations, and prospective residents.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to work independently.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
