The Outreach Manager leads the growth and implementation of a national student success initiative, partnering with colleges and universities to improve student outcomes and institutional success. Serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned schools, this role collaborates with campus leadership to identify challenges, implement customized solutions, and drive adoption of programs that support student persistence, career-readiness, financial wellness, and successful student loan repayment. The position combines strategic relationship management, program implementation, outreach, training, and subject matter expertise to advance student and campus success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert on Student and Career Success Grant programs, student financing options, financial literacy, default prevention, and student loan counseling.
Lead outreach efforts through email campaigns, referrals, webinars, demonstrations, and presentations to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of grant-supported services.
Partner with higher education administrators and campus leaders to build and maintain long-term relationships that support student success initiatives.
Manage ongoing relationships with assigned schools, including conducting campus visits and providing consultative support.
Present programs, services, and outcomes to senior campus leadership and key stakeholders.
Coordinate and implement campus services and initiatives aligned with institutional priorities while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Develop, monitor, and communicate impact metrics and success measures to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Create and deliver training programs using a variety of learning methods, including webinars, online learning, printed materials, and in-person instruction.
Develop content for newsletters, publications, presentations, and other communications to support outreach and education efforts.
Research industry trends, evaluate curriculum and training materials, ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, and recommend enhancements to programs and resources.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
5+ years of experience in higher education, financial aid, student lending, career services, grants administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience building relationships, consulting, or partnering with higher education institutions and stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of student success initiatives, financial literacy, student financing, and/or student loan programs.
Experience presenting, training, or delivering educational programs to a variety of audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree.
Experience working directly with college or university leadership on student success, retention, career readiness or financial wellness initiatives.
The pay range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, peer and market benchmarks, and geographic location.
