Job Description

The region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care is seeking an integrated outpatient clinician to work with our clients for co-occurring (Mental Health & Substance Use) services in Granite City, IL.

This position is full-time; daytime hours, Mon-Fri.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $54,000 - $61,000 annual salary.

There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.

This role is Student Loan Repayment Eligible.

STATE LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM (SLRP)- The SLRP offers up to $50,000 in loan repayment for primarycare providers working in HPSAs in Illinois.

National Health Service Corp (NHSC) LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM - The NHSC LRP offers up to $100,000 for providers working in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) in Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Help consumers to regain control over their lives through self-directed recovery.
  • Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
  • Use evidence-based practices focusing on individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Link clients to community resources including DCFS, probation/parole, courts, medical care, and natural supports
  • Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community to sustain a favorable program reputation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field and qualify as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) in the state of Illinois. IL licensure of LMFT, LCSW, or LCPC required.
  • Must be willing to be trained in the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA).
  • Must obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training.
  • Basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, Outlook, Teams, email and an electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Must be willing and able to offer telehealth services, as dictated by funding sources, client needs/desires and supervisory assignment.
