We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient practice at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington in Washington, DC.   • Schedule / Hours: Monday – Friday, standard outpatient hours

  • Patient Volume: Outpatient adult mental health and addiction patients
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient mental health clinic
  • Support / Care Team: Collaborative multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff
  • EMR / Technology: Electronic Medical Records system in use

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient mental health care to adult patients with various psychiatric and addiction disorders
  • Administer medication management, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based treatments
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EMR

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $140,000 - $155,000

Qualifications

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • 3-5 years of experience as a PMHNP
  • Active or eligible Washington, DC nurse practitioner license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
