Exciting opportunity for a BC/BE Endocrinologist in central Pennsylvania! Mount Nittany Physician Group Endocrinology is seeking a FT Endocrinologist to join their busy, well-established practice.Located in State College, PA, Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care facility that offers all of the luxuries of a college town—including short commutes, NCAA Sports, Arts, high quality schools and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• Outpatient Only
• 3 Physicians, 4 APPs
• Support Staff includes Diabetes Educators
• 9 Exam Rooms/3 Consult Rooms
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Compensation Package:

• Competitive base salary + wRVU production incentive
• CME allowance
• Sign-on bonus - 100K

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Examines patient for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders and determines nature and extent of injury or disorder using medical instruments and equipment.
• Elicits and records information about patient's medical history.
• Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.
• Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition.
• Administers or prescribes therapeutic procedures, treatments, and drugs as indicated by diagnosis.
• Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene, activities, and methods for prevention of disease.
• May round at various hospital facilities.
• Takes emergency call on a rotating basis on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Refers patients to other medical specialists when indicated.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines in accordance with federal law.
