The Supervisor is responsible for supervising operational activities and providing clinical management of rehab services to the patient populations served by the facility. This shall include the direction, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of the professional staff, supportive staff, and students providing rehab services to patients. The Supervisor will also perform the duties of a clinical therapist.
The Supervisor will promote smooth operations, prompt and effective response to problems/concerns, continued department development, and program expansion. This position is also responsible for coordination of interdepartmental functions and activities to ensure smooth and effective operations consistent with the objectives of the department, the facility, and of the Frazier Rehab Institute.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from a college/university accredited by the respective national accrediting body (required)
Master’s or Doctorate level degree in related field (preferred)
Experience:
Two (2) years of recent clinical experience in an environment commensurate with the practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility (required)
Licensure:
Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility (required)
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
