Saint Alphonsus MedNow Pharmacy provides outpatient pharmacy services for the community's medication needs. MedNow provides fast friendly and knowledgeable service. Blisterpak and worker's comp prescription filling and medication consultation.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Providespharmaceutical care to customers of Saint AlphonsusOutpatientpharmacies.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacyrequired PharmD preferred.
Must be licensed bytheIdahoState Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions
Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric as applicable).
Ensuresthe accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients.
Reviews patient history incorporating various pharmacy activities providing customers with adequate education for optimum outcomes.
Prepares pharmaceutical products for patients’ use by safe andcost-effectivemethods using acceptable professional standards.
Comprehends and supports quality assurance and risk management issues.
Participates in various departmentalduties,material resource management, clerical and financial responsibilities, safety, and other issues.
Supervises technicians and pharmacy support personnel.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to adapt to institutional roles and schedules.
