The Case Therapist II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

BHS Foxpointe in Sycamore, IL is seeking an experienced, independently licensed clinician to join our dynamic outpatient Behavioral Health team. About the Role:

As part of our outpatient therapy team, you will provide evidence-based treatment to clients from diverse backgrounds. Our clinicians represent a wide range of training backgrounds and clinical interests—and we believe this diversity strengthens our practice and enhances patient care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Independently licensed clinician (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD)
  • Strong grounding in evidence-based interventions
  • A clinician with a clinical niche or specialized focus area
  • Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and inclusive clinical practice
  • Comfort in both outpatient therapy and community-facing work
  • Interest in serving clients of diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences

In addition to outpatient therapy, this role incorporates meaningful community connection through service in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). EAP responsibilities include:

  • Delivering presentations and educational sessions
  • Attending local employer wellness fairs
  • Providing Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)
  • Offering short-term, solution-focused counseling for employees of contracted partner organizations

Schedule

  • Weekdays
  • Minimum of two evenings per week: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum two years of experience working in clinical treatment setting in substance abuse and/or mental health setting.
  • Must be computer comfortable
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field and license eligible.
  • 2 years of experience in intensive treatment setting with individual and group counseling in substance abuse setting and /or mental health setting.
  • Customer Service skills. Experience with motivational interviewing style.
  • Must be license eligible at time of hire with timeframe determined by manager to secure license in behavioral health field, which may include licensed social worker, professional counselor, psychologist, marriage and family therapist.

Preferred:

  • Prefer Licensed LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, LMFT or other license in behavioral health.
