Job Title: Outpatient Adolescent Therapist
Location: Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona (Coverage Across Two Outpatient Locations)
Hours & Schedule: Full-Time; Regular Business Hours
Salary / Hourly Rate: $70,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience
Work Environment: Outpatient Behavioral Health Setting (Adolescent-Focused)
Travel Required: Local travel between Glendale and Phoenix outpatient locations as needed

An established behavioral health program serving the Glendale and Phoenix communities is seeking an Adolescent Therapist to join its clinical team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide impactful therapeutic services to adolescents facing complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. The role is ideal for behavioral health professionals who thrive in a structured, team-oriented environment and are dedicated to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care. Fully licensed therapists are preferred; however, candidates who are license-eligible or actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adolescent clients
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aligned with best clinical practices
- Collaborate with families, schools, primary care providers, and community partners to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the EMR system
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical consultations
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral support when needed
- Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in adolescent mental health
- Support treatment goals through effective communication and coordination with the care team
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Active Arizona licensure (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred
- Candidates who are license-eligible, pending licensure, or actively pursuing Arizona licensure will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adolescents preferred
- Strong knowledge of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health diagnoses
- Specialized training in trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, or family systems therapy preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills
