ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for an OUTLET MANAGER for JUNEBUG'S BBQ

An urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches.

With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Restaurant at Albert.

Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.

What you'll do:

  • Assist the Operations Manager and Director of Outlets with overseeing the outlet(s) to ensure a smooth execution of service
  • Responsible for staff training programs to ensure knowledgeable service throughout the outlet
  • Assist in the development of departmental objectives, policies, procedures, and strategies
  • Train and supervise Food & Beverage employees and provide feedback based on observation
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of labor cost control through effective scheduling and proactive management
  • Analyze operational problems, such as theft and wastage, and assist the F&B Managers in establishing procedures to alleviate these problems
  • Hold staff accountable throughout their shifts for job performance through consistent supervision and follow-ups as needed
  • Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns and apply corrective measures when necessary
  • Ensure all employees adhere to dress code policies for their scheduled shifts
  • Assist in establishing cost improvement objectives and implementing action plans
  • Consistently conduct an accurate inventory by following inventory standards and procedures
  • Ensure staff has a complete understanding of their job requirements and sufficient training before holding them accountable for results
  • Ensure that all staff is delivering the level of service following New Waterloo Standard Operating Procedures
  • Create opportunities for ongoing education and development of team members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of special projects as assigned
  • Promote and encourage guest name recognition with both internal and external guests
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of safety in the work area
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition; arrange for equipment purchases and repairs as needed
  • Supervise the outlet in the absence of the Operations Manager and Director of Outlets
