The Outcomes Intern will support the organization through the completion of projects/tasks that will support the decision-making process at Valley Health. The project/task assignments will be developed based upon the learning objectives skill set of the intern and skillset of the intern. The projects/assignments will relate to clinical outcomes, clinical analytics, business plan development, physician engagement, process improvement, and database management, financial analytics and budgeting. Detailed expectations will be provided at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with the intern's skill set and learning objectives. Attendance and participation at all scheduled meetings. Intern will be expected to make evidence-based recommendations from analytical work, prepare presentations, and communicate recommendations to the appropriate audience, which could entail department managers, physicians, staff, or senior leadership.
Education
Completed or currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree Program, Healthcare or Management Engineering related field required.
Qualifications
Ability to display understanding of core principals in disciplines listed.
