Position Summary:
To further Wadhwani Foundation’s
mission of accelerating job growth through skilling and entrepreneurship, we
are seeking an
Outcomes Analyst – Ecosystem Impact
to support the
measurement and improvement of program outcomes across our
Skilling and
Entrepreneurship initiatives in India
.
This role will work closely with
Central
Program teams and on-ground program operators
to understand how programs
are performing across partners, geographies, and cohorts. The Outcomes Analyst
will generate
data-driven insights on what is working, what is not working,
and why
, enabling timely course corrections and stronger program outcomes.
The role will combine
outcome
tracking, ecosystem diagnostics, and operational insights
, ensuring that
program teams have the intelligence required to strengthen program delivery and
improve long-term impact.
While the analyst will work closely
with program teams in the ecosystem, they will maintain a dotted line alignment
with the Central Impact function, ensuring adherence to impact measurement
frameworks, outcome definitions, and data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
1.
Ecosystem Intelligence
& Program Diagnostics
·
Analyse program performance across partners, geographies, and
cohorts to identify patterns in outcomes and program effectiveness
·
Identify drivers of success and underperformance in skilling and
entrepreneurship ecosystems
·
Surface early signals on learner progression, partner performance,
job placement outcomes, and venture creation
·
Generate ecosystem intelligence insights to help program teams
understand where interventions are succeeding and where course correction is
needed
2.
Outcome Measurement &
Monitoring
·
Support the implementation of approved outcome measurement
frameworks across programs.
·
Track program KPIs such as employment outcomes, income
progression, job retention, and venture sustainability
·
Monitor participant journeys across the program lifecycle to
ensure accurate tracking of outcomes
·
Operationally manage outcome validation exercises such as surveys,
tele-calling, third-party validations, and field verifications
3.
Data Analysis &
Operational Insights
·
Analyse program data to identify bottlenecks in learner or
entrepreneur journeys
·
Identify partner or geography-specific
performance variations; stakeholder-specific analysis
·
Translate data into actionable insights and operational
recommendations for program teams
·
Support the development of performance
dashboards and insight reports
4. Field & Stakeholder Coordination
·
Work closely with program managers, trainers, placement teams, and
partner organizations to understand operational realities
·
Support program teams with data-backed insights to improve
mobilization, training effectiveness, employer engagement, and venture support
·
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as employers and
ecosystem partners
5. Continuous Improvement & Program Learning
·
Conduct root cause analysis for underperforming partners,
geographies, or cohorts
·
Support testing and analysis of pilot interventions or operational
improvements
·
Document lessons and insights from program implementation
6. Data Quality & Compliance
·
Maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and
reliability
·
Ensure outcome data aligns with approved measurement frameworks
and definitions
·
Support quality assurance processes
for outcome measurement and reporting
Required Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Development Studies,
Public Policy, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields
·
3–5 years of experience in impact measurement, program analytics,
development sector analytics, workforce development/skilling programs, or
entrepreneurship ecosystem program
·
Experience working with primary and secondary data to generate
operational insights is strongly preferred
·
Experience working with field teams
or ecosystem partners will be an advantage
Technical Skills
·
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
·
Proficiency in advanced MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables,
structured analysis)
·
Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or
Tableau
·
Familiarity with MIS platforms and survey tools
·
Ability to conduct statistical and cohort analysis
·
Strong ability to translate data into
clear written insights and presentations
