Ulan Coal Mines, an established and high-output underground longwall coal mining operation in the western coalfields of NSW, is currently seeking to appoint a Outbye Superintendent.

The Outbye Superintendent is a critical role to lead the Outbye teams to safely undertake the services and support activities necessary to meet the longwall production and development budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• The delivery of the annual budget;

• Reviewing the effectiveness of the department and implementing improved methods of work;

• Statutory compliance levels within the department;

• Intervention plan as required.

• Key accountabilities are Outbye Roadways, Secondary Support, Stone Dusting, Supply and supporting production processes

Your Qualifications and Expertise

• NSW Second Class Certificate of Competence (Undermanagers), or NSW Third Class Certificate of Competence (Deputies) and be willing to obtain Second Class Certificate;

• Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills;

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Project and Excel.
