Outbound Sales Development Representative
Cold Calling & Meeting Setup Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to lead our cold outreach efforts. You will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, scheduling qualified meetings, and building pipelines for our sales team. This role requires deep CRM proficiency, email automation skills, and the ability to position our solutions effectively through compelling product pitches.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cold calling campaigns targeting high-value prospects with a focus on appointment setting and lead qualification
- Manage complete prospecting lifecycle: research, outreach, follow-up, objection handling, and meeting scheduling
- Leverage HubSpot CRM to log all activities, track prospect data, manage contact sequences, and maintainaccurate pipeline records
- Design and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns combining email, phone, and LinkedIn with integrated CRM workflows
- Develop and deliver compelling product solution pitches tailored to prospect pain points and use cases
- Enrich prospect and account data within HubSpot using internal databases, LinkedIn, and third-party research tools
- Manage email campaigns at scale, including list segmentation, template creation, automation workflows, and response tracking
- Qualify prospects against ICP criteria and route hand-off meetings to Account Executives with complete research and context
Required Qualifications
CRM & Systems Expertise
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, including contact & company management, pipeline tracking, and workflow automation
- Proficiency with email management platforms (e.g., HubSpot Sequences, Outreach, Apollo, or equivalent)
- Experience with phone systems integration (call logging, voicemail tracking, call analytics)
- Familiarity with data enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Clearbit, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
Sales & Outreach Skills
- 3-5 years proven track record of executing high-volume cold calling campaigns with strong conversion rates to meetings
- Ability to craft compelling cold email pitches and follow-up sequences with strong open and response rates
- Experience conducting prospect research and building personalized value propositions aligned to account pain points
- Strong objection handling and persistence in prospect engagement; comfort with rejection and resilience
- Demonstrated ability to qualify prospects accurately and schedule qualified meetings
Account & Prospect Management
- 3-5 years' experience managing prospect timelines, follow-up cadences, and lead stage progression
- Ability to maintain detailed prospect records, document interactions, and track decision-maker movements
- Comfort with account-based marketing principles and multi-threading across key stakeholder groups
Communication & Presentation
- Excellent verbal communication skills; calm and professional on phone calls
- Strong written communication for email, messaging, and brief product positioning
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate product features, benefits, and use cases in conversational pitches
- Experience delivering solution-oriented pitches that address specific customer problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS cold outreach, sales development, or business development roles
- Experience with Outreach, Apollo.io, or similar sales engagement platforms
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and advanced LinkedIn prospecting techniques
- Experience in healthcare IT, enterprise software, or SaaS verticals (advantageous)
- Exposure to sales methodology frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC, SNAP, Sandler)
- Prior experience with database enrichment projects and list building
