We are looking for an Outbound Logistics Coordinator in our Poeldijk office, Netherlands.

The Outbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the distribution of goods from warehouses or production facilities to customers, retailers, or distribution partners. This role ensures that orders are processed accurately, shipped on time, and delivered efficiently while maintaining high service levels.

The coordinator plays a key role in optimizing outbound logistics operations by planning shipments, liaising with carriers, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and transport regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Order Fulfilment Coordination: Oversee the processing and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Transport Planning: Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers and logistics providers to optimize cost and delivery performance.
  • Customer & Carrier Communication: Act as the main point of contact for customers, transport providers, and internal teams regarding order status and delivery updates.
  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor outbound shipments and proactively manage delays, disruptions, or delivery issues.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and export/customs documents where required.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure efficient picking, packing, and loading of goods.
  • ERP System Management: Maintain accurate order, shipment, and inventory data in ERP or logistics systems.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track delivery performance and carrier reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as incorrect shipments, damages, or delivery failures.

Requirements

    • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role (preferred).
    • Knowledge of transportation processes, import/export procedures, and documentation.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
