SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Outbound Engagement Specialist
to generate qualified sales opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and appointment setting. This role is responsible for engaging cold prospects, executing targeted outreach campaigns, maintaining accurate CRM data, and securing qualified appointments for the sales team.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong phone presence, experience engaging with U.S.-based customers, and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment. Success in this role is measured by appointment-setting performance, activity levels, data accuracy, and contribution to overall sales pipeline growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting activities through phone calls and other approved outreach channels.
• Complete a minimum of 150 outbound dials per day and consistently meet weekly activity targets.
• Execute outbound campaigns according to established schedules, scripts, messaging, and processes.
• Identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients based on defined criteria.
• Generate and schedule qualified appointments for the sales team to support revenue growth.
Appointment Management
• Confirm scheduled appointments and provide concierge-style follow-up to maximize attendance rates.
• Follow up with no-shows, cancellations, and postponed meetings to secure rescheduled appointments.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospects throughout the appointment-setting process.
CRM & Data Management
• Accurately document all prospect interactions, activities, and outcomes within the CRM platform.
• Maintain detailed call notes and communication histories.
• Assist with contact research, database maintenance, and CRM data cleansing activities.
• Complete assigned CRM tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
Campaign Execution & Team Collaboration
• Participate in daily team huddles and weekly marketing meetings.
• Provide feedback on campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay informed on current company services, offerings, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts.
• Support team objectives and contribute to a positive, high-performance culture.
Performance & Compliance
• Meet or exceed appointment-setting, activity, and performance targets.
• Utilize CRM, dialer systems, and marketing technologies effectively.
• Follow company processes, telemarketing regulations, and ethical sales practices.
• Maintain professionalism and a customer-focused approach in all prospect interactions
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, lead generation, telemarketing, customer service, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Proven experience conducting cold calls and engaging prospective customers over the phone.
• Experience working with U.S.-based customers and familiarity with American business communication styles.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and persuasive communication skills.
• Strong phone presence with professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently overcome objections.
• Experience using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage high call volumes and multiple priorities.
• Ability to accurately document interactions and maintain detailed records.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in B2B lead generation, sales development, or appointment-setting environments.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ConnectWise, or similar systems.
• Experience working within managed services, technology, professional services, or consulting industries.
• Familiarity with automated dialers, sales engagement platforms, and prospecting tools.
• Previous experience supporting marketing campaigns, business development, or sales pipeline generation initiatives.
