Job Description

Our Mission:
At GE Vernova, we are united by a single, urgent, and optimistic mission: electrify to thrive and decarbonize. The world needs us to accelerate the transition to more reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy. Together, we have the energy to change the world.

This role is responsible for the regional execution and integration of the Outage Readiness framework, ensuring complex, high value outages are planned and executed with full readiness across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
The Outage Readiness Project Manager serves as a regional extension of the global Outage Readiness organization, consolidating fleet level risks, outage readiness signals, and parts, repairs, and services constraints into decision ready insights for Region Operations leadership.
Operating across a portfolio of outages, this role partners closely with regional and global stakeholders to identify readiness gaps early, mitigate risk, and support prioritization and Go / No Go decisions, while reinforcing standardized processes and scalable ways of working that can be applied across all technologies.
During the initial phase of deployment, this role will also play a key part in supporting and driving HA specific readiness KPIs and TTIs at the regional level, reflecting the criticality and maturity needs of the HA technology fleet

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own regional integration of outage readiness across an assigned portfolio of outages, serving as the primary regional focal point for the Outage Readiness organization.
  • Consolidate and maintain a regional portfolio view of outage readiness, including:
    • Fleet and outage‑level risks
    • Scope integration across parts, repairs, and services
    • Cross‑outage dependencies and sequencing constraints
  • Partner with CPMs and Service Managers to ensure readiness inputs are incorporated into existing planning milestones without disrupting execution ownership
  • Provide readiness insights and recommendations to support:
    • Planning and readiness reviews
    • Prioritization and sequencing discussions
    • Go / No‑Go and escalation forums
  • Act as a risk integrator, identifying systemic readiness issues across multiple outages and framing mitigation options and trade‑offs for leadership decision‑making.
  • Coordinate closely with Fleet Programs / GSIM, Engineering, and regional stakeholders to support CAPA implementation planning, ensuring corrective actions, technical programs, and outage execution plans are aligned and incorporated into readiness milestones.
  • Ensure fleet program and CAPA implications on outage scope, timing, parts, repairs, and field execution are visible early and integrated into regional planning
  • Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders to support parts, repairs, and services readiness, ensuring constraints and risks are visible early.
  • Reinforce standardized readiness frameworks, templates, and work practices, enabling consistent execution across regions and technologies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Region Operations leadership by translating readiness risk into regional business impact and decision‑ready insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, data quality issues, and opportunities to improve readiness visibility, predictability, and execution performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Operations, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Operations, Project Management, Services, Customer or Field Services.
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial services operations, outage execution models, and fleet or portfolio‑level planning

Desired Characteristics

  • Proven ability to lead through influence in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience managing or integrating multiple outages or programs simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and constraints.
  • Strong understanding of outage planning and readiness processes, including planning milestones and readiness reviews.
  • Experience integrating technical scope, parts, repairs, and field execution constraints into a consolidated readiness view.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to engage effectively with CPMs, field teams, and senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or similar operational excellence frameworks.
  • Experience with power generation or industrial services portfolios is preferred but not limited to a specific technology
  • CPM, Field Services, or portfolio/program management background is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel ~25% (dependent on region and outage profile).
