Position: OTR Tire Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay Range $23-$28/hr

We’re seeking a skilled and dependable technician to join our team! This full-time role focuses on servicing and maintaining off-the-road (OTR) commercial tires. This position requires operating a mini boom truck. A CDL is not required; a valid driver’s license is sufficient.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience operating a mini boom truck

• Experience working with small, large, and industrial OTR tires

• TIA and ETS certifications are a plus

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)

• Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen

• No DWI convictions in the last 4 years

• No more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last 3 years

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with tire tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists, and jacking equipment

Job Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and roadside OTR tire service

• Safely operate a mini boom truck and related equipment

• Identify and obtain necessary parts and tools for repairs

• Respond to service calls promptly and professionally

• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

• Be available for on-call service and occasional night/weekend work

• Maintain a professional, safety-first attitude at all times
