Overview:

St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Otolaryngologist (ENT) Physician to join our growing ENT practice in Amsterdam, NY. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving outpatient practice caring for patients with a wide range of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Working alongside an experienced clinical team, you’ll have the opportunity to provide comprehensive specialty care while developing lasting relationships with patients in a welcoming community.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
  • Perform office-based procedures and surgical interventions appropriate to the scope of Otolaryngology practice.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing medical and surgical management when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, audiologists, speech therapists, and other specialists to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the ENT service line.

Qualifications:

Required Credentials - Board Certified / Board Eligible in Otolaryngology. Must obtain New York State medical license prior to start date.

Preferred Experience - Experienced physicians and graduating residents/fellows are encouraged to apply.

Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency.

Skills - Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and patient-centered communication skills.

  • Base Salary - $440,000+ (commensurate with experience)
