| Part-Time | Pay Rate: $14.00 hourly + Average Hourly Tip Rate: $5.21 | Schedule: Friday - Sunday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the OTB Teller, you will take all horse race bets from guests. You may also make change at guests request or redeem coupons, cards. You will be responsible for large sums of money and payout tickets therefore you must follow Casino procedures exactly. You must become proficient in the knowledge of all horse racing terminology and types of wagering before performing responsibilities. All required paperwork must be in the shift packets for auditing procedures. You will report to the Cage/Vault Shift Manager or the Cage/Vault Manager on duty.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will provide cashier services, including cashing tickets, and preparing deposits.
  2. Assist guests with race results, reading programs, advice on types of bets, the issuance of vouchers, and on how to bet.
  3. Data entry of wagers.
  4. Verify identification of guest when needed.
  5. You will use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
  6. Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
  7. All paperwork must be signed.
  8. All shortages are the responsibility of the Teller and must be paid back to the Casino.
  9. Follow established procedures of the Choctaw Nation, Choctaw Casinos, and local management.
  10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
