
We are seeking a highly skilled technical project manager to drive and ensure the successful, on-time delivery of Software Update and OTA (Over-The-Air) functions. This role focuses on managing complex software development projects, steering internal teams and external suppliers, and ensuring alignment with all project milestones within the vehicle development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Steering & Milestone Tracking
Provide clear project direction, priority management, and escalation support to development and testing teams to resolve critical path issues and remove delivery bottlenecks.
2. Budget & Resource Management
Support surrounding development and business processes by facilitating resource planning, release management, and continuous process improvements for OTA software delivery.
3. Defect Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
4. Supplier Steering & Stakeholder Reporting
Education & Experience
Bachelor degree or above, major in Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or other related fields.
5+ years of working experience in technical project management within the automotive or software engineering industry.
Proven track record in managing complex software development projects, preferably related to OTA, connected vehicle services, or E/E architecture.
Experience in supplier steering, contract management, cross-functional team coordination, and driving issue resolution across multiple departments.
Knowledge & Skills
Solid understanding of automotive software development lifecycles, Agile frameworks, and standard automotive processes (e.g., ASPICE).
Strong proficiency in project management, defect tracking, and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Polarion).
Familiarity with budget planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a high sensitivity to project risks and delivery bottlenecks.
Fluent oral and written English communication capability for executive reporting and global stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, SAFE or similar project management certifications.
General technical understanding of vehicle network communication, Android/Linux/QNX environments, and onboard-offboard communication chains.
