We are looking for an OT Cybersecurity & Network Security Engineer who will help customers design, implement, and secure industrial communication networks and OT infrastructures across manufacturing, energy, transportation, and critical infrastructure environments. The role combines technical consulting, solution design, and customer-facing project work across Europe and beyond, working closely with international teams and industry experts.
What are your responsibilities?
- Design and support OT cybersecurity and industrial network security solutions for industrial customers.
- Provide technical consulting and presales support throughout the customer journey.
- Prepare security architectures, technical proposals, and solution documentation.
- Design and implement network segmentation, industrial DMZs, firewall concepts, and secure remote access solutions.
- Support security assessments, architecture reviews, risk analysis, and mitigation planning for OT environments.
- Support deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of secure industrial communication networks.
- Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, cybersecurity, and product management teams.
- Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers and colleagues.
You'll win us over by:
- Experience in cybersecurity, network security, industrial networking, or technical consulting.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access technologies.
- Understanding of OT environments, industrial automation, and industrial communication networks.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards relevant to industrial environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Good communication skills in English and willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%).
- A degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is an advantage.
Nice to have:
- Experience with industrial cybersecurity solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, NDR, or secure remote access technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, or Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with network segmentation, industrial DMZ architectures, and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols such as PROFINET, OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, or IEC 61850.
- Knowledge of ICS, SCADA, PLC, DCS, or Industrial IoT environments.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Siemens, IEC 62443, etc.).
