We are looking for an OT Network Engineer who will help customers design, implement, and optimize Industrial Ethernet and OT infrastructure solutions for manufacturing, energy, transportation, and critical infrastructure environments.
The role combines technical consulting, solution design, and customer-facing project work across Europe and beyond, working closely with international teams and industry experts.
What are your responsibilities?
- Design and support Industrial Ethernet and OT infrastructure solutions for industrial customers.
- Provide technical consulting and presales support throughout the customer journey.
- Prepare network architectures, technical proposals, and solution documentation.
- Design and optimize switching, routing, network segmentation, and secure remote access solutions.
- Support deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and integration of industrial communication networks.
- Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, cybersecurity, and product management teams.
- Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers and colleagues.
You'll win us over by:
- Experience in network engineering, OT infrastructure, industrial communication, or technical consulting.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, routing, network redundancy, and network management principles.
- Understanding of OT environments, industrial automation, and industrial communication networks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Good communication skills in English and willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%).
- A degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is an advantage.
Nice to have:
- Experience with industrial networking platforms such as SCALANCE, RUGGEDCOM, SINEMA, or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies such as VLAN, STP/RSTP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, or Multicast.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols such as PROFINET, OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, or IEC 61850.
- Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, or Zero Trust.
- Experience with industrial firewalls, network segmentation, and secure remote access solutions.
- Relevant certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Aruba, Siemens, etc.).
