OT Infrastructure / DeltaV Hardware Support Engineer

AMTSOL is looking for an experienced OT Infrastructure / DeltaV Hardware Support Engineer to support GMP-regulated manufacturing environments across Life Sciences and Biopharmaceutical operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience supporting DeltaV infrastructure, virtualization platforms, OT systems, industrial networks, system administration, and hardware lifecycle support activities within regulated manufacturing facilities.

The role will involve infrastructure support, commissioning, troubleshooting, cybersecurity implementation, system upgrades, backup & recovery management, and operational support across DeltaV and OT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain DeltaV infrastructure, hardware, and OT systems across manufacturing environments.
• Perform installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of DeltaV servers, HMIs, workstations, and associated OT infrastructure.
• Support virtualization environments including Hyper-V, HCI, VRTX, and virtual server platforms.
• Perform system administration activities including user access management, antivirus deployment, patch management, system hardening, and backup & recovery support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, communication, and infrastructure-related issues within OT environments.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and operational support activities.
• Configure and maintain industrial communication protocols including OPC, Modbus, Ethernet, Foundation Fieldbus, and industrial networking systems.
• Coordinate with Automation, CSV, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams during project execution and operational support activities.
• Support DeltaV upgrades, infrastructure modernization, virtualization migration, and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
• Maintain lifecycle documentation, SOPs, validation support records, and infrastructure-related documentation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV infrastructure and hardware support.
• Experience supporting OT infrastructure and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, HCI, VMware, or VRTX.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience in patch management, backup & recovery, antivirus deployment, and cybersecurity implementation.
• Familiarity with DeltaV system administration, Guardian, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting FAT, SAT, commissioning, and operational support activities.
• Knowledge of industrial networking, switches, firewalls, and communication protocols.
• Good understanding of GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biopharma manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting Life Sciences and Biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Exposure to DeltaV upgrades, virtualization migration, and OT infrastructure modernization projects.
• Familiarity with SHM, DVBAR, AMS Device Manager, and backup systems.
• Experience supporting validated systems aligned with GAMP5 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
• Kneat validation experience is preferred.
