Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today’s children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. As an OSHC Permanent Educator, you’ll work in the Ellenbrook area, where you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with children, families, your team, and the wider school community. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of engaging before and after school care programs for primary school-aged children. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts and hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across before and after school care shifts during term time. Extra hours available during school holidays too!

Rise then Shine Term-time morning shifts from 6:30am - 8:40am
Stay and Play Term-time afternoon shifts from 2:45pm - 6:30pm
School Holiday Program Additional shifts may be available during school holidays, within program operating hours of 6:30am-6:00pm

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check.
• Australian working rights.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

A formal qualification is not required for this role. However, candidates who hold or are working towards a relevant ACECQA-recognised qualification will be highly regarded, including:

• WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
• WA Qualified Educator - Working towards or have completed a relevant qualification to work as a Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
