We live and breathe our company values every day by being considerate, passionate, courageous, and making a difference.
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead our service in the Success area, with a strong focus on creating an inclusive, supportive and engaging environment for children with a diverse range of needs.
This is a permanent part-time role offering 33.5 hours per week, including 6 hours of paid non-contact administration time
Our OSHC program operates Monday to Friday during school terms:
Rise then Shine: 7:00am – 9:00am
Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
During school holidays, our Vacation Care program operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am – 6:00pm
As Coordinator, you’ll lead a team of dedicated Educators, oversee the day-to-day operation of the service, and create an environment where children feel safe, understood, included and supported to participate.
This opportunity would particularly suit someone with experience or a background in Occupational Therapy, disability or inclusion support, education support, early childhood, positive behaviour support or working with children with additional needs
You’ll bring a strong understanding of inclusive practice and be confident supporting your team to respond to individual needs, adapt activities and environments, establish effective routines and create positive experiences for all children attending the service.
We’re looking for a calm, confident and capable leader who can guide Educators through complex situations, build consistency across the team and balance individual support needs with the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of the wider group.
Alongside your focus on inclusion, you’ll build strong relationships with children, families and the school community, support program planning and quality improvement, and ensure the service operates in line with relevant compliance requirements, including the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
Your 6 hours of dedicated non-contact administration time each week will give you valuable time to plan, support your team, strengthen inclusive practices and manage the operational requirements of the service.
If you have experience supporting children with additional or complex needs and are ready to bring those skills into a rewarding OSHC leadership role, we’d love to hear from you.
