The Opportunity:

The Y NT is seeking an experienced Centre Coordinator to manage a unique OSHC Service with lots of charm and potential, located in Bradshaw.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient environment for all members and staff.

• Financial Leadership: Manage financial planning, payroll, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the centre's financial health and growth.

• Team Management Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and programs.

• Risk Management: Implement and oversee risk management strategies to ensure a safe and secure environment in accordance with relevant legislation.

• Program Delivery: Design and deliver innovative programs for children that encapsulate social, emotional and developmental needs of our diverse community.

• Project Planning Be involved in the development of both long-term and short-term projects for the successful operation of the facility, including program development and strategies for Stakeholder Engagement: Develop, engage, and collaborate to improve local relationships while identifying partnerships, programs, and events that may benefit the community and the Y.

• Fostering Inclusiveness: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and open environment for all members of staff and the community.

• Training: Assist the Y NT children services senior management in developing, coordinating, and implementing marketing plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities within the centre.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012) and CPR.
• Early Childhood diploma qualification or above.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Centre Coordinator.
• Strong leadership skills
• Growth mindset, goal driven

Mandatory Requirements

YMCA requires that all applicants undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement, including but not limited to:

• Valid Working with Children Clearance.
• Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
