ORTHOPEDIC TRAUMA SURGEON Scottsdale, Arizona | High-Acuity Trauma Program Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ High-acuity orthopedic trauma in one of the most desirable cities in the Southwest. SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative trauma program in Scottsdale, Arizona — 24-hour block scheduling, a structured coverage model, and a surgical team built for consistency and sustainability. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE POSITION • Full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon • 183 shifts annually · 24-hour shifts • 7-day block scheduling with built-in recovery time between rotations • High-acuity trauma program · collaborative orthopedic trauma team • SAMGI operational support — billing, credentialing, and admin handled ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU'LL DO • Operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients • Complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries • Trauma call coverage at a high-acuity trauma center • Perioperative management and post-operative follow-up clinic • Collaborate with trauma surgery, ICU, emergency medicine, and nursing teams ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ QUALIFICATIONS • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required • Experience with pelvic and acetabular fracture management preferred • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure • Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Competitive compensation grounded in national MGMA data • Medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage • Comprehensive medical, dental & vision benefits • Employer-matched 401(k) • Annual CME allowance • Credentialing and onboarding support ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE LOCATION — SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA 300+ days of sunshine.
