Essential Functions - Assists with transport of patients.
Other Related Functions - Assists the orthopedic surgeons requested. - Participates in Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Indicator (QI) as assigned. - Performs patient rounds, charting, charging, regular cleaning of equipment and in service education that is directly related to the orthopedic technician service.
Education/Training High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school (or at least one (1) year of verifiable and applicable work experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a patient care setting) required.
