Opportunity Overview

Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our program at Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, Nevada.
This is a unique opportunity to practice full-scope orthopedic surgery in a rural community setting while enjoying a predictable schedule and the professional support of a well-established surgical group.

Program Highlights

  • Two-Surgeon Model: Each surgeon works ~183 days/year

  • 24/7/365 ED Ortho Call Coverage

  • Daily Onsite Weekday Coverage (M–F): Clinic, hospital, and OR

  • Clinic Duties Include: Elective ortho, follow-ups, and outpatient consults

  • Target Volume: 150 acute + 150 elective = 300 total cases in year one

  • No APPs required – direct surgeon-delivered care

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

  • Experience in arthroscopy, joint replacement, and acute fracture care

  • Proven ability to balance elective & inpatient referrals

  • High standards for patient satisfaction, strong communication skills

  • Demonstrated excellence in a collaborative team-based environment
